Help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases like Coronavirus (COVID-19): Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue then dispose in trash. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. Stay home when you are sick. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

What are the signs and symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19)? Fever, cough, shortness of breath

Austin Spine Health is actively adhering to the CDC’s Guidelines regarding cleaning and sanitation measures and all staff are practicing prevention measures. In an effort to minimize spread of illness and exposure, Austin Spine Health will be implementing the following mandatory requirements for all patients:

IF YOU ARE SICK OR ILL, PLEASE CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT -

Do not come to the office if you are ill or sick or have been in contact with someone currently ill or sick. If you have been ill or sick, you must be free of symptoms for at least 24 hours prior to being seen. Anyone who arrives to the office an appears to be ill, including persistent coughing/sneezing, shortness of breath, or fever appearing will be asked to leave the office and will have appointment rescheduled once symptoms free for 24+ hours.

AVOID BRINGING OTHERS TO YOUR APPOINTMENT -

Please avoid bringing others to accompany you to your appointment unless absolutely essential. If you do require someone to transport you to your visit, we recommend they stay in the car unless you require assistance within the office or during your visit. This is a means to limit potential unnecessary exposure to other patients and staff members in the lobby and/or exam rooms.

PLEASE COMPLETE NEW PATIENT PAPERWORK ELECTRONICALLY -

In an effort to minimize the handling/processing of physical paperwork, we are asking new patients to complete paperwork online and email or fax to the office at www.contact@austinspinehealth.com or 512-327-4265 (FAX). This is intended to minimize spread of illness and exposure.

ADDITIONAL PHONE/EMAIL STAFF TO PATIENT COMMUNICATIONS -

We are requesting all patients to provide the best phone number and email in an effort to increase phone correspondence in order to efficiently expedite your appointment and visit to our clinic.

HAND WASHING/SANITIZING -

Since we specialize in treatment of neck and back pain, there is necessary hand to hand contact as part of the physical exam, in order to effectively examine and evaluate your condition. Therefore, you will be asked to wash or sanitize your hands once in the exam room in an effort to increase prevention of illness or potential exposure to others. Austin Spine Health will continue to share any updates on our website.
